April 14th, 2011.

the day I have been dreaming of

it seems so silly to me, that I have been planning this day forever.

in my mind it seems the second my clock reads 12:00am my life will forever change.

dip me in gin and wash away my sins, like some magical baptism, all of my problems will dissapear and I will be reborn into an age of peace and prosperity.

It seems almost unreal. Like a day the world has been predicted to end, it will come and go, and nothing will happen.

Because nothing will happen, in reality

a card will tell someone I am allowed to drink alcohol.

21 grams. the weight of my soul?

I want to hide in my fort,

in my cocoon bed

in my cotton sheets of contamination

with the clicking and creaking heat

with the cars and people outside

up so high

they can't see me

or hurt me

again.
